SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Alec Burleson and Paul DeJong homered, Miles Mikolas pitched 6 1/3 scoreless innings and the St. Louis Cardinals beat the San Francisco Giants 6-0 on Thursday to avoid a four-game sweep.“That’s what Cardinal baseball is supposed to look like there,” St. Louis manager Oliver Marmol said. “There are a lot of positive things that came out of today. DENVER (KDVR) -- A Colorado Avalanche team doctor called an ambulance for a woman found "highly intoxicated" when employees were checking on forward Valeri Nichushkin on Saturday in Seattle, a police report shows. Nichushkin missed Game 3 of the Stanley Cup playoffs that night and has been away from the team since the incident.FOX31 obtained police records from the Seattle Police Department describing the woman in the back of an ambulance at the Four Seasons Hotel. Police were called to the scene just before 3:45 p.m.The report said team doctor Bradley Changstrom told police the woman was found by team employees when they were checking on Nichushkin. (KDVR) — Travelers should expect traffic stops on Interstate 70 in Glenwood Canyon next week for rock-scaling work.Traffic stops are expected Tuesday, May 2, through Thursday, May 4, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation. DENVER (KDVR) — April is historically Denver's second snowiest month of the year. However, this year the metro only picked up a little more than 2 inches of snowfall, a quarter of the normal amount. In an average year, the Denver area will see its snowiest months in March and April, picking up 11.5 inches in March and 8.8 inches of snowfall in April.
